Last week I scored some FREE folders at Office Max. The black plastic folder was $1.00, .25 for the glue stick 4 packs and FREE folders. I also bought some composition notebooks on this trip to get my total to $5 for the free folders!
WAGS always has the deals, again you just have to be patient and buy things when the best deal is available. Today (7/23/12) we saved a TON! Pencil boxes .69 each, .19 highlighters, .99 scissors, .39 erasers.
I love giving my students composition notebooks at the begnining of the year to use for personal journals, even better if I can get them in different colors! Office Max had these on sale for .50 last week. You could only buy 5 at a time so it took me two trips to get the 10 I have here :) I know other stores will offer these for this low price, I am sure I'll be able to get my class set for a great price before school starts!!
So here is what has been spent so far for the 2012-2013 school year:
